Current Purchases Haul

Hi Everyone

Hope you have had a great day, today I am sharing with you some of the recent purchases I have made that I have been loving over autumn so far.

I absolutely love autumn because it is the perfect weather to chuck on a pair of boots and jeans but it is the right weather to wear a t-shirt  with a coat.

First up is this coat from Kmart Aus for only $35. It has a lovely fur hood that is filed with white fluff. I love that this jacket has a smooth inside so when it starts getting colder I could wear knits underneath.

Next is these Glamorous Petite Patchwork Distressed Boyfriend Jeans from ASOS. I absolutely love the deign of them with the darker denim and the light denim with the rips. I also love the distressed look and I feel they go really well with a cropped tee.  My only advise would be to order a couple sizes larger if you are not a petite person as they are quite small.

And last but not least my favourite item by far has got to be these Timberland boots that I purchased from Platypus. I am absolutely in love with them and wear them every opportunity I get. To protect them for getting dirty I have also sprayed them with Crep Protect. I don’t really know if it does anything but it is better to be safe then sorry.

Pumpkin and Eggplant Quinoa Salad

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all feeling good. Today I am going to share with you this pumpkin and eggplant quinoa salad. I normally don’t like these kinds of “healthy” salads but I absolutely love this one and I hope you do too.

What you will need:

  • ½ Butternut pumpkin
  • ½ Eggplant
  • 200g fetta
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • rocket leaves
  • balsamic salad dressing

Firstly you will need to dice your pumpkin and eggplant into small cubes, then place them on a lined tray and drizzle with oil, salt and pepper. Then place in oven at 210ºc until they are roasted and softened.

While your vegetables are roasting start to make the quinoa, I used 1 cup quinoa to 2 parts water and then placed it into the microwave for 10 minutes or until softened. Then let it cool. Then dice your feta, I used danish feta.

Once your vegetables are roasted (the above picture they are not roasted) in a bowl place in your washed rocket leaves, quinoa, then add in the roasted vegetables and feta and lightly toss.

When your ready to eat it, I dressed it with balsamic salad dressing and it is amazing. I hope you have enjoyed this post and if you remake it I would love to know what you think.

Lush and Tarte Haul

Hi everyone

Hope you are all well, I am so excited to share with you these purchases that I have recently made.

So this is them, the Tartelette In Bloom Clay Palette by Tarte and the Intergalactic and the Guardian Of The Forest bath bombs from Lush.

These bath bombs are absolutely amazing. I personally don’t think that they smell the best but they look amazing when you put them in the bath. The Intergalactic bath bomb left my bath a deep dark blue colour and left an amazing trail of gold glitter in the bath once I was done. Ever since I have become obsessed with Lush these two products are ones that I knew I would try one day.

This Tartelette In Bloom Clay Palette by Tarte is another item that I have had my eyes on for a while. It is so pretty and I love that I will use all the colours in the palette as they are all nude colours. I also love the mixture of matte and shimmer colours. They are also very pigmented.
